It’s Friday, so let’s have a little fun.
Have you ever wondered who is responsible for the quinoa craze? Or why gluten-free labels are popping up everywhere? There are answers to these questions.
The comedy duo Thanks Laura explains it all in this trailer for a mockumentary, The Bad Boys of Food, about the influencers behind all the food trends we have experienced over the last 20 years or so.
We love laughing at food almost as much as we love eating it. Giggles aside, this video got us thinking about food trends, and the way we eat.
At D’Artagnan we are not chasing the latest food trend. Instead, we follow the old ways, raising animals with care, to provide raw ingredients you can trust. What we offer has been on the menu for a long time; since mankind first hunted and gathered.
We did “sustainable” and “farm-to-table” before they became buzzwords.
We keep it simple, use pronounceable ingredients, and offer foods that are satisfying as well as nourishing. The prepared foods we make come from the 6,000-year-old tradition of charcuterie, which just happens to be enjoying a trend right now.
Trends come and go, health crazes fade, or are proven wrong. But real food, from trusted sources, is forever.
Bravo !!!
