Our Cassoulet War has become something of a tradition in New York City. Local chefs create cassoulets of all kinds – from the traditional to the outlandish – and offer tastings to our guests and celebrity judges.
In Southwest France each village has its own interpretation of this timeless comfort food dish, and they are all convinced theirs is the one true cassoulet.
We carry on the competitive French tradition with our third annual Cassoulet War in New York City on February 20th, 2017. Chefs will battle for cassoulet supremacy at The Eventi Hotel, beginning at 7 PM and ending when there is just one chef left standing.
Which cassoulet will win the Most Authentic, Most Daring and the Most Popular awards? We need you to help decide. So join us and place your vote!
Get your ticket & loosen your belt. There will be eating (a lot!), drinking (plenty of Madiran, Cahors and Armagnac) and arguing over which cassoulet is best.
